Quinn Matava

Industrial Designer

I’m an industrial designer based in Cleveland with experience across in-house roles, consultancies, and DoD contracting work. My work has taken me across the U.S. for co-ops, throughout Europe for study and design, and into U.S. military bases to see how great design performs in real-world conditions. With a degree from the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program, I’ve built a strong foundation in CAD, visualization, value engineering, and human-centered design that I continue to refine through every project. I’m trilingual in English, Dutch, and French.I’m especially drawn to both product and transportation design, carrying lessons from one into the other. Working on mobility projects taught me to think in systems, user interactions, and precise detailing, and I bring that same rigor into consumer products. I’m always pushing to sharpen my design process, adopt new tools, and grow through collaboration with others in the field.
