Dovetail is a modernization of the mobile airport lounge concept. The concept aims to reduce aircraft turnaround times, enhance the passenger experience, and create a more accessible air travel experience.
My role in Dovetail included creating in-context animations illustrating the mobile lounge’s functionality. I also produced full-page press renderings for Aircraft Interiors International Magazine 2024 and advanced Dovetail's airport system design by reimagining airports that rely entirely on Dovetail instead of traditional jet bridges. This work explored the impact of such a transformation on both airport operations and the passenger experience.
Airport Animation
Created using Twinmotion animations and renderings, the project required extensive world-building using Twinmotion's asset library and a downloaded model of Chicago O'Hare Airport. I iterated on scene details such as environmental elements, weather, lighting, movement speeds, and passenger flow to accurately convey the Dovetail system in context. The final animation highlights both functionality and system integration, bringing Dovetail to life.
